The Story

The designer Kristin Kallas-englberger was naturally inclined to creating beautiful clothes since childhood.Her mother who saw the tendency helped her to sew dresses from her drawings. In her teenage times expressing herself through clothing became forefront, she used to wear courageous outfits, for example a punky  headpiece made of huge paper fan, or self made grungy metallic painted trouses with platform shoes etc. 

She took successfully part of various fashion competitions, winning 3 times and having second place on Estonia’s this time most prominent competition `supernova`. Many years she was involved in creating outfits for creative movies and custom making costumes for music artists.

It became clear to go to study this field further. Kristin graduated Textile Design in Estonian academy of Arts. Years of continuous self-study and learning from other professionals made the path clear for her and label Kallas was born.
